Skyglow

As moonlight and light pollution reflect

Off the snow this city seems to glow.

A pale orange light tints the midnight sky,

As a dream of a distant fire keeps me up

Late into the night.

But there’s a beauty in nature

And what it does to the artificial.

As the snow reflects up and the clouds reflect down,

Streetlights are magnified

Are made magnificent.
